The YTL PowerSeraya Group has built a strong integrated energy company, riding on our strength and experience in electricity retailing (through our brand Geneco) to provide our customers with a comprehensive and competitive business solution, as well as competitive electricity price plans for households in Singapore.
From a core commodity business centred on electricity generation – which has a licensed capacity of 3,100 MW* – as well as electricity retail, we have diversified our business to also offer bundled multi-utility services.
*As at 30 June 2025, our registered generating capacity with EMA is 2,467.7 MW.
Electricity
Riding on our strength and experience in electricity retailing since 2001, we are able to offer to provide our customers with a comprehensive and competitive business solution, as well as competitive electricity price plans for households in Singapore.
Steam
The company’s portfolio of assets includes an 800MW Co-Generation Combined Cycle Power Plant with the capability to supply high pressure steam for use in industrial processes to Singapore’s petrochemical hub located on Jurong Island.
Water
Our 10,000m³/day Seawater Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) Desalination Plant – the world’s first to utilise a highly-advanced 16-inch large diameter membrane SWRO technology and set new standards in efficiency when the plant was established in 2008 – is able to meet the potable water needs of marine vessels up to 1000 m³/day.
The company also has the capability to supply demineralised and fire fighting water to industries in the vicinity of Pulau Seraya Power Station.
